Spray glue for crafts

This adhesive aerosol is based on styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) in a solvent mixture and designed to be sprayed with dimethyl ether compressed gas. The spray adhesive effortlessly bonds fabrics, paper, cardboard, wood, hard fiber, foam, fleece and rubber hair to themselves and to each other. It is suitable for creative handicrafts, DIY projects, puzzles, collages, presentations, fixing posters and much more.

When gluing polystyrene foam, a thin application of adhesive on both sides and thorough drying are always required to prevent the formation of adhesive clusters and thus prevent the foam from decomposing. The adhesive is not suitable for soft PVC, leather with a fat content of more than 12%, artificial leather or products containing plasticizers. Test bonding is recommended for all materials before large-scale application. The adhesive has an open time of 3-10 minutes (depending on the adhesive application, material and temperature). It reaches its final strength after approx. 48 hours.

Depending on the load and material, the included adhesive can be used for bonding in the temperature range from -10 °C to +60 °C. The solids content of the active ingredient in the adhesive is around 36%. Due to its fast initial tack and short flash-off time, the adhesive is suitable for numerous areas of application. The spray head valve is variably adjustable to vary the length of the vertical spray jet.

During processing, the material, room and adhesive temperature should be between +15 °C and +25 °C. Shake the spray can vigorously before use. Spray a very thin layer onto the clean, grease-free and dry parts to be joined from a distance of 20-30 cm and allow to dry for 3-10 minutes (depending on the ambient temperature and the absorbency of the substrate). The best time for contact bonding is when the adhesive film does not pull strings when touched lightly with your fingers and feels dry but still tacky. Then press the parts to be joined together with great pressure. Pre-prime porous, uneven or absorbent surfaces with a very thin layer of adhesive, allow to dry for 5 minutes and then proceed as described.
