The Junkers JU-52 is also affectionately called "Tante Ju" and originally came from the Junkers Flugzeugwerke AG from Dessau. Originally designed as a cargo plane, the JU -52 was later used mainly as a commercial aircraft. Aircraft typical are 3 drive motors and the outer skin of corrugated iron.

The model was designed for modern electric drives and is faithfully modeled on the original.
