SEOUL Power LED 3 watts
Powerful LED for illuminating scale or semi scale models. Can be used in flash operating mode as anti collision light (ACL) or with additional cooling (e. g. with heat sink, see section Accessories, item no. OPT4310) in permanent operating mode as position light.
The LED is already fixed on the mounting PCB which ensures the easy installation inside the model.

Information used LED technology
SEOUL LEDs are unsurpassed in their efficiency so they are used even in power saving lamps. As an alternative to conventional fluorescent lamps or glow lamps the LED makes history in the lighting engineering industry. Due to special own patent based phosphor and housing technologies this LED stands out due to maximum light flux, very good thermic resistance coefficient and high heat conductance. SEOUL LEDs belong to the most efficient and brightest electroluminescent diodes in the world.
Important hints
- Before using the LED a suitable resistor for permanent or flash operation mode must be soldered. The resistor can be soldered into plus or minus pole. Find an overview of suitable resistors in the sections Product data and Documents.
- Pay attention to a sufficient cooling (e. g. heat sink, see section Accesories, item no. OPT4310) especially in permanent operation mode. In permanent operation mode the LED must not be illuminated longer than 15 minutes. The LED are going to be very hot!
- We recommend to use an additional 1S LiPo battery for operating the LEDs. Operating with 2S LiPo is possible, but the resistors may be very hot.
CAUTION
LED is very bright, don't look into the cone of light from closer distance. This could cause damage of the retina.
