This is discus launch version of the Hyper 1.5M glider that was specially engineered for hand launch enthusiasts. Is very light constructed, but veneer sheeted wing and composite fuselage construction makes it very rugged. The HN1033 modified thin airfoil wing was specially designed to allow superb air penetration, excellent handling, and extra long glide time. Hyper is well suited to be the FIRST DL GLIDER due to its toughness and good handling characteristics. The Hyper wing also could be built as polyhedral wing if desired by the builder.
