The tricopter kit

Tricopters distiguish their selves for their particular, unique

flight attitude: very agile and maneuverable, soft and at the same time

precise in the actuation of the controls. The kit of the Graupner

HoTT-Hornet 250 tricopter allows you to build the multicopter according

to your own preference. For example you can install the proven Graupner

GR-18 receiver (No. S1019) so as other Open Source flight controllers

and receivers without problems. Already bored holes make the assembly

easier.

The particular form of the tricopter allows perfect

recognition of the position in any time. Thus makes the well-formed

Hornet perfect for training in sight flight. The HoTT-Hornet is

obviously capable of much more.

The frame of the Graupner

HoTT-Hornet is made of light but strong polycarbonate. The resistance

capable material forgives some flight errors. All the RC components are

perfectly protected in the belly of the Hornet.

Package content

kit is delivered with 3 Ultra brushless motors (2206 stator), 3 Ultra

Control 20 A, voltage module and DES 281 digital servo. Also the

propellers are already included.

We recommend you to use the

Graupner GR-18 (No.S1019). As RC transmitter, the Graupner mz-12 (No.

S1002.77.DE) is perfectly suitable. mz-12 and GR-18 areavailable also at

special price as multicopter control bundle (No. S1002.G1.DE).

Make

of your Hornet a real FPV copter. Therefore you need only an FPV

camera, e.g. the Graupner FPV camera 700 TVL with OSD (No. 48334), an

FPV video transmitter (S8460) so as FPV goggles.

As battery the

Graupner LiPo battery V-MAXX 45 C 3/1600 mAh (No. 9717.3) is

particularly suitable. Use a strong battery and let yourself be

impressed by the exceptionally long flight time of the tricopter.

Other versions

The

Graupner tricopter is available also as FPV Ready to Fly (RTF) version

(16540.RTF), completely assembled and including the mz-12 RC

transmitter. For all of them who already have an RC transmitter, the FPV

CAM version (16540.CAM) is the right choice. Also this version is

already fully assembled. For individualists who want to complete their

multicopter completely according to their preference, the frame kit

(16540.C) is the best solution.
