High performance in a small space

At first glance, Skywing's 80 A brushless controller impresses with its comparatively small size of just 60 x 29 x 14.5 mm and a weight of only 85 g. It can be operated with lithium batteries from 2s to 6s or nickel batteries with five to 18 cells and has an integrated switching BEC, which provides a current of up to 8 A at 5.5 V voltage. Programmable are the motor brake for folding propellers, the cut-off voltage and the type of shutdown, the timing, the soft start for brushless motors, the engine running direction, two helicopter modes and the clocking. For comfortable programming, the optionally available programming card, which can be set very easily via jumpers, can be used. The board is equipped with high quality SMD components and shrunk clean. Thanks to a temperature-resistant silicone coating up to 200 ° C, the 12 AWG strong connection cables are robust and flexible at the same time. On the battery side, the brushless controller is equipped with an original Amass XT90 gold contact plug and motor side with gold contact sockets of 4.0 mm diameter. For greater safety, overheating protection ensures that the output power is reduced until the temperature drops below 100 ° C at an operating temperature of 110 ° C and above. Each controller is tested for correct function at the factory prior to delivery.
