Mixing made easy

The Sulzer MIXPAC MBQ 05-16L is a mixer for static 2K cartridges with B system (separate outlets) in a mixing ratio of 1:1 or 2:1. In the B system, an interface with separate outlet openings between the cartridge and mixer prevents cross-contamination of both adhesive components and thus the cartridge from clogging or sticking. Inside the mixer, 16 green mixing elements ensure that both adhesive components are evenly mixed. The outside of the mixer has a diameter of 5.3 mm and the length is 90.7 mm. It is attached to the cartridge using a gray bayonet screw cap. The internal volume is 1.88 ml, so that this amount of adhesive remains in the mixer after use and hardens in it. Therefore, this single-use product is not reusable.

QUADRO mixing technology

The QUADRO mixer has a patented, innovative new mixer design that sets new standards in the industry. The unique geometry of the QUADRO mixer allows us to build the mixer in a very compact and short way. In each mixing element, the number of layers formed is doubled. This special geometry, in combination with the square shape, leads to a practically ideal layer formation. This is why the QUADRO mixer achieves excellent mixing performance, is extremely short and has a very low pressure drop compared to other mixer designs.
