The PD100 is a replica of a well-known search and rescue drone, which is used by the military. The model not only convinces with its robust structure, but also with its detailed look. The rotor head is supported by a precise stabilization system and gives the drone a completely new feeling for tax thanks to Auto-Start and Auto-Landing. The new electronics now also make it possible to fly such a model without major knowledge. The PD100 starts at a handy 2.4GHz transmitter with metal sticks at a handy pressure and floats by itself. There the drone (in height-hold mode) and the pilot can concentrate entirely on the essential functions without having to pay attention to the flight altitude at the same time. The gyro system also controls the rear rotor and keeps the model stable in the air. For more agility in flight, three speed levels are available, which are equally interesting for beginners and advanced. Thus, the PD100 is also suitable for outdoor (with light wind), reaches high speeds in forward flight. To land, the start/landing button on the transmitter can be operated again: the model sinks gently to the ground again.

The engine has soft arrival and soft cut. This means that when the start starts, the rotor slowly turns and thus prevents the model from turning away around your own axis. The same applies to landing: the rotor runs out slowly, the engine is automatically switched off. As a further security feature, the PD100 has a voltage monitoring that permanently checks the battery in flight. Once the basic voltage has been reached, the LED lighting begins to flash and thus signals to land as soon as possible. If the pilot does not react, the system independently takes over the landing to protect the battery.

The PD100 is almost ready for use after unpacking. Just load the battery and install the app for the camera control - you can start. The smartphone is installed on the remote control using the holder supplied, so the live image is directly in front of you. With the Lipo battery 1S 3.7V 580mAh, flight times of up to 15 minutes are possible. After extensive maneuvers, the PD100 is quickly ready to fly again via the USB charging cable.

In addition to the remote control, the drone can also be flown via the app. For this purpose, the smartphone is connected to the drone using WLAN. In addition to all the functions for the camera such as photo, video, zoom, etc., the app also has the option of taking control.
