The spinner series for aerodynamic top performance.

The Z-spinners combine the advantages of the CN-spinners (Cool Nose with cooling air openings) and the cranked Z-centerpieces. Due to the angled aluminum center pieces, the folding propeller blades fit even closer to the fuselage and thus ensure less air resistance during gliding. The spinners with the center pieces are designed for slim e-glider hulls, but can also bring advantages, for example, to wooden hulls in box construction if they are ground round.

The risers of the spinner sizes 32-42mm are interchangeable, e.g. 38mm spinner caps can be operated with the riser of the 42mm spinners. These possible combinations result in further optimization potential, as they allow a finer tuning to the respective fuselage. The spinner 30mm has its own riser, which cannot be combined with the other spinner caps.

The Z-Spinner contains a spinner cap (diameter 40mm) made of white plastic (very easy to paint), milled aluminum riser with integrated holder for clamping cone, special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, mounting screws for spinner cap and propeller blades.

The diameter of the spinner cap is 40 mm. The center distance (d) of this spinner is 34 mm. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades is reduced by 16 mm (0.31"). Example: A propeller with a diameter of 12" has an effective diameter of 11.69" at this center piece (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a center piece with center distance d = 42 mm).
