The Mitsubishi Zero A6M was a long-range fighter used by the Japanese Air Force in the Imperial era.
In combat operations the Zero earned a legendary reputation, remaining a 'DogFighter' of the air until 1943.
The aircraft was designed to have long range and high performance, leaving aside comfort and protection for the pilot, which were not a priority for the Japanese regime.
This, in fact, caused numerous losses among Japanese pilots during the war.
