Description
Shorty is an easy-to-build trainer model with excellent slow flight characteristics. The wings are built on a slipway with prefabricated airfoils. The manoeuvrable model is controlled by elevator and rudder.
Due to the extremely low flight speed, Shorty is very suitable for learning to fly with a motor model. The very detailed construction instructions with 3D construction stage drawings guide you through the entire construction. For the covering of the tail unit, covering paper is included in the kit, and the building instructions also contain a detailed video tutorial in which the covering of the tail unit is explained.
The kit contains: All components made of laser-cut wood, small parts, linkages, covering paper for tailplanes, landing gear with wheels, 3D construction instructions.
For the Shorty model, a matching drive set is offered under the number 1366/01 (includes motor, ESC, propeller, driver, 2 servos).

A complete drive set for the Shorty trainer model.
This consists of the coordinated components: brushless motor actro-n 28-4-880, controller actrocon 30, CAMcarbon Light-Prop 11×4.5", propeller hub 4.0mm and 2 servos AN-12-MGBBA.
If the optional tow coupling is to be removed from the model, an additional servo AN-12-MGBBA (order no. 7003/74) is required.
A 2S LiPo or 3S LiPo with approx. 2400 mAh is recommended as a drive battery (not included). With a 2S drive, the model can be controlled very well at slow airspeed and the setup is ideal for learning how to control an engine model. For towing for small glider models, we recommend the variant with a 3S LiPo.
