The T-72 is a Soviet main battle tank built from 1972 by the Uralvagonzavod company and put into service by the Soviet Army. In addition to the Soviet Union, the tank was built in Poland, the Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia, and in India under license from 1980. The T-72 is currently the most widely used main battle tank in the world. It was exported in large quantities, including to many Middle Eastern countries such as Syria, Libya, Iran and Iraq. He was used in many conflicts, such as the 1982 Lebanon War, the First and Second Gulf Wars, and the Yugoslav Wars. A total of around 20,000 units were produced, of which Russia still maintains around 9,200, with only about 1,200 active. The main weapon of the T-72 is the 125 mm D-81TM cannon, which was adopted into the armament of the Soviet Armed Forces under the GRAU index 2A46. It is a smoothbore gun that is equipped with a sheet metal thermal protection cover and a smoke extractor to prevent uneven heating due to weather conditions. The stabilization of the weapon system is carried out by the 2E28M stabilization system. The gunner's optics are stabilized in the vertical axis, the weapon system in the horizontal axis. The gun's elevation and elevation range is −6° to +14°.
The AMEWI Edition is a faithful replica on a scale of 1:16, delivered in a solid real wood box in the representative style of a natural-coloured ammunition box. RTR – ready to run. The tank has a smoke and sound function as well as a lighting system for even more convincing experiences. The firing function is carried out by means of a push button, which can be used to shoot 6mm BB hard plastic bullets up to 15m away. The cannon can be moved up and down, all control functions are proportional and can therefore be controlled sensitively. In addition, the model has an infrared combat module, which allows for duels with other tanks from this Amewi Edition. In the event of a direct hit by an enemy, the hit tank is visibly 'shaken up' once. The model is powered by two powerful motors that transmit their power to the drive wheels via a multi-stage metal gear. The gearbox is also encapsulated (covered) on the inside. All wheels on the chassis are connected to the chassis with metal swingarms and damped. The entire running set (wheels) and also the chains are also made of metal. This true-to-the-original model with its olive green paint is in no way inferior to the real tank. The entire scope of delivery corresponds to the latest state of the art (electronics TK 6.0). From now on, we deliver all models with a modern Li-Ion battery with 1800mAh and 7.4V. A matching 220V plug charger is also included in the set.
The model has been tested for functionality before packaging and a functional log is included. It comes in a solid wooden box with a styrofoam core that fits perfectly.
The wooden box is a bonus and does not entitle you to complain about any external damage to the real wood box.
