The famous Black Hawk is a medium-weight transport helicopter that has been mass-produced by Sikorsky Aircraft since 1977. The UH60 designation is used for various export versions. Mainly used in the military sector as well as for air and sea rescue missions, a visual characteristic of this helicopter is the tail rotor mounted at an angle to the fuselage, which ensures good robustness even in difficult conditions and shelling.
The model is a scale replica in 1:47 scale with a rotor diameter of 425 mm. Detailed appearance is combined with strong performance thanks to the brushless system. The model features functional doors, LED lighting, stubby wings with on-board armament, a damped landing gear with castors and a highly effective gyro. GPS geomagnetic flight control system enables useful functions such as automatic hovering, automatic circular flight, altitude hold, automatic return to launch site when battery is running low, one-button return, fail-safe return in case of signal loss, auto-takeoff, auto-landing, and an optical sensor flight mode. In stabilized mode, the UH60 Black Hawk is wonderfully easy to control, making it suitable for transitioning from RPM-controlled helicopter to a professional helicopter like in real life.
The supplied battery with charger has undervoltage protection and allows the status of the charge level to be displayed. It is also equipped with a searchlight mount. The high-quality 2.4GHz transmitter offers additional security thanks to a 2-way transmission system. The model is already programmed to the transmitter ready to fly. The remote control can also be adapted to individual needs, for example the switch from Mode 2 to Mode 1. There is also the option of connecting an S-Bus receiver, as the helicopter has a 5V S-Bus output board.
Note: The optical positioning system requires high-contrast surfaces to work. Water surfaces or the like can lead to errors.
