The ADAC rescue helicopter with the registration D-HYAR is the first H-145 with a five-blade rotor to be used by the ADAC. It had its first mission on December 23, 2021, when it took off from the "Christoph Westfalen" air rescue center at Airport Park Greven, near Münster-Osnabrück Airport.
This licensed scale replica is in no way inferior to the original: All details have been realistically implemented, so that rivets, lettering, paintwork, position lights, handles, antennas, the five-blade rotor and even the Fenestron tail propeller are exactly the same as the real helicopter. The technical equipment also leaves nothing to be desired. The model is equipped with brushless motors in both the main drive and the Fenestron. The hovering flight is supported by barometric electronics and a ground sensor. This allows the pilot to concentrate on flying without having to constantly pay attention to the altitude. The model also offers an auto-take-off/landing function, and the servo travel of the swashplate can be adjusted in three levels (from beginner to professional). The remote control can be switched to Mode 1 and Mode 2 and has an emergency stop button that switches off the engine immediately if something gets out of control. In addition, each function can be trimmed manually. An automatic gyro calibration ensures frugal flight behavior. Thanks to the integrated autostabilization, which is similar to the flight behavior of a coaxial helicopter, this model is also ideal for beginners and inspires equally experienced pilots.
Highlights:
5-blade rotor and Fenestron tail propeller like the original: Absolute scale optics including stable flight behavior with enough power reserves for all common maneuvers and outdoor suitability even in light winds
Barometer and ground sensor Assisted hovering: The pilot no longer has to concentrate on manually holding altitude, but can familiarize
himself with all other functions without danger or loss of control High-quality 2.4GHz transmitter with aluminium sticks and many setting options: For example, switching from mode 2 to mode 1, dual rate, auto-take-off/landing, emergency stop and pitch angle for experienced pilots
Other features:
Scale painting of the ADAC rescue helicopter D-HYAR
LED lighting with position lighting on the side fins
High-strength ABS fuselage shell
Stable and flexible landing gear
