The FA-82 B engine is a replacement motor for 2-stroke engines with a capacity of 6.5 to 8.5 ccm, both in trainers weighing approx. 2,200 - 2,600 g trainers with a span of approx. 1500 - 1600 mm and in Fun-Fly models with a span approx. 1200 mm and weight within 2.3 kg. This fast-accelerating 4-stroke engine will not only work evenly and quieter than a 2-stroke counterpart, but will also spin a much larger propeller - as much as a 14-inch! Due to the relatively small dimensions, the FA-82 B engine will be installed on the same cradle as the smaller SAITO FA-56 or FA-72 units.

The SAITO FA-82 B engine is also available in the exclusive "Golden Knight" version, with a black body and gold valve covers.
