A new, extremely weight-optimized fuselage made of aramid fiber completes the update, offers maximum strength and helps to achieve further phenomenal flight performance. All frames required for chassis installation are cut according to CAD data and included in the set. The conversion was only made possible by a completely new engine concept. A particularly efficient 120mm impeller replaces the previous drive solution consisting of two smaller impellers. This completely newly developed full carbon electric fan generates up to 40N of stationary thrust with the appropriate motor power. Even if the highest quality drive components are used, cost savings can also be achieved compared to the previous solution. We recommend Kontronik Tango 45-08 with 28 cells GP3000 or GP-3300 or Tango 45-07 with 30 cells. This results in approx. 36N of thrust at approx. 1650 W input power and 22 000 rpm. As with the originally offered Rafale (order no. 1347/00) with twin engine, the impeller is easy to install and maintain due to the division of the fuselage. The merging of the air jet in front of the engine as well as its division in the area of the thrust tube are provided by aerodynamically specially shaped GRP trouser tubes, which are manufactured to fit precisely and are included in the scope of delivery.

It is possible to install a retractable landing gear in the model. This means that it can be ground-launched on hard slopes as well as on short-mown and level lawns. As a result, the twin-engine jet model is becoming even more faithful to the original on the ground as well as in the air. The 3-piece pneumatic retractable landing gear with steerable nose wheel is available as an accessory set. 7358/52.
