Quido is a kit of a small electric aircraft model that fits in any trunk. The individual parts are largely prefabricated from balsa and must be assembled using the enclosed building instructions. The rear part of the fuselage consists of a single carbon fiber tube, which provides lightweight construction of the entire model. The tail unit is firmly glued to the fuselage and is not removable, which is not necessary with the compact size. The wing is built in one piece and attached to the fuselage with rubber rings. This ensures quick and easy assembly during flight preparation, and in the event of a rough landing, the surfaces on the fuselage are shifted or detached from the fuselage without damage. The wings and tail units are covered with iron-on foil, which the model builder applies at his own discretion and taste. Quido is suitable for model builders who have already had their first experience with a wooden kit of our free-flight models (e.g. Lilienthal 31 / 32) and is an ideal introduction to RC model flying. The model kit contains all the wooden parts needed to build the fuselage and wings, a carbon fiber tube for the rear fuselage section, linkages and small parts as well as detailed building instructions. External rotor motors with rear mounting with an output of 100-150 watts at 2s Lipo are suitable as suitable drives.
