Other recommendations

For gluing, we recommend a fast-curing white glue .

With water-soluble glue, corrections can be made even after hardening by moistening the relevant areas.

The glue then becomes waterproof when painted.

No glue should come into contact with the unpainted mahogany wood or the outside surfaces that will be visible later, as this will appear as a stain after painting.

It is best to prime the mahogany wood components with a thin layer of pore filler (order number 766602) before gluing and sand them with 320 grit sandpaper. Before the boat is put in the water, it must be painted inside and out with boat varnish (order number X4190) so that the wood and the glued areas become waterproof.

Glue the wooden and metal parts and the parts that are glued to the boat varnish with a 2-component adhesive (order number 1551010).
