We look back at the beginning of manned space travel. The year is 1961.
After Gagarin became the first person in space, the USA tried to follow suit -
first launched with suborbital flights of Mercury capsules using Redstone rockets.
The beautiful model is a 1:34 version of this Mercury
Redstone rocket. Assembling the model requires, as with almost all scale rockets
certain prior knowledge, as there are many details to imitate. Working with wood and plastic
parts are necessary, and also painting work.
You will be rewarded with an impressive model, which can be used both in flight and in the air
Shelf looks good as a freestanding model.
A comprehensively illustrated construction and usage manual in English, French and Italian
is included with the product and is available here as a document.
